Arrange your own ranking
Set a rough starting order, then refine it by comparing pairs in Play.
Put favourites first
- Open a personal list’s Rankings and choose Arrange items to open Your order. Arrange is not available for live rankings.
- Set an approximate order with your favourites at the top; it does not need to be exact. After saving, compare pairs in Play to refine your ranking. Drag the handles to move items, or use the up and down buttons. On smaller screens, these actions are in each item’s three-dot menu. You can also focus a handle and use the up and down arrow keys.
- Items above the Unranked divider are ranked; items below it stay visible without a position. Drag items across the divider, move the divider itself, or use an item’s menu to add it to the ranking or leave it unranked. Hints appear when either side is empty.
- Choose Save order to apply the draft. Saving clears your existing rank for items below the divider, even if you compared them before. You can leave everything unranked. Manual arrangement is available for personal lists; live rankings use pairwise votes. Cancel leaves your saved ranking unchanged.
What estimated means
Your order gives Tilt a starting point for Elo scores. A fresh list runs from about 1,100 at the top to 900 at the bottom. When you rearrange an existing list, Tilt keeps established scores where possible.
Ranking views show unranked items as individual rows below an Unranked separator. The separator can only be moved in Arrange.
Order alone doesn’t show how strongly you prefer something. Choose Compare items to refine those estimates. Comparisons can change the order, and unranked items can still appear in play.
Keep your history
Arranging does not add votes or matchups. Your previous comparisons stay saved. You can change your saved order by opening Arrange items again.
Leave unranked is available for items you haven’t ranked yet. Previously ranked named items can sit out using Don’t know during play.
