Share a list
Give someone the same items to rank, with their own choices.
Choose who can find it
Open Share in a custom list. You can create a link or send the list to friends. A private link is not listed in the marketplace, but anyone you pass it to can preview it.
Sharing a list shares its items, not your personal rankings. Recipients can add a copy on this device or sign in to sync it.
Publish to the marketplace
Anyone with a registered account can publish a custom list. In Browse → Lists, choose Publish a list, select a saved list and Review publication. You can also open Share on a list and choose Marketplace. Review the items and choose Publish to marketplace. The listing shares its items, not your rankings.
Your first publication starts with your own upvote. Registered accounts can upvote or downvote once per listing, switch their vote, or select it again to remove it. Browse orders listings by upvotes minus downvotes. Saves counts other registered accounts currently subscribed to a listing; your own copy and copies saved only on a device are excluded.
A score below zero suspends the listing from public Browse pending investigation by the Tilt team, and sends its creator an alert. Existing personal copies stay available. Administrators can approve it or take it down. An approved listing can return to review if its score falls further. Administrators can suspend an account’s publishing privileges separately from account access.
Updates are your choice
Lists already in your library show Open list instead of Add list, even if you renamed or archived them. A newer creator version shows Update available. Dismiss hides that release’s notice on this device; List updates on the edit screen keeps the update options available. A newer release shows the notice again. Update existing list replaces your edits and keeps rankings for matching items; Save as new list keeps your old list and rankings unchanged and starts a separate copy. The same version cannot be added twice. Your own edits do not count as creator updates.
Your own lists show Custom. Other people’s lists show Community, or Community · Edited after personal changes. Lists from @tilt are built in and have no tag until changed, when they show Edited. On the edit screen, Reset to default restores the original version saved in your library, including its name, items and settings. Your ranking history is kept; personally added items leave the list. Creator updates are a separate choice.
Registered creators see publication status on their list cards, list headers, edit screens and sharing controls. Changes pending means saved content differs from the published version. Share latest changes updates a private release; Update marketplace listing updates a public listing. Recipients choose when to accept an update.
The sharing controls let you revoke a link or unpublish a marketplace listing. Copies people have already added remain theirs.
